Trick or Treat!

October 30, 2006 - New York, NY - There's a lot that goes into having a successful Halloween. Do you have the right costume? Have you carved the pumpkins? Did you buy the good candy that the trick-or-treaters will actually want? Well while you decided whether to dress up as a fairy princess or the Wicked Witch of the West, take a look at how some of your favorite Liberty players spend October 31.

If you were to go trick-or-treating this year, what would your costume be?

Kiesha Brown: I would be George Jefferson in a basketball uniform.
Cathrine Kraayeveld: I have no idea what I would be for Halloween. Any suggestions?
Erin Thorn: I actually am dressing up this year, as Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes from TLC.
Ambrosia Anderson: I would probably go as a Power Ranger.
Loore Moore: I could see myself being a soldier - with full combat gear and camo, the whole nine yards.
Ashley Battle: If I were to go trick-or-treating this year I would definitely want to be Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Sherill Baker: I would be an angel, because so many people think I'm sweet and innocent.

At what age did you stop trick-or-treating?

KB: My trick-or-treating stopped when I was 15.
CK: I think I stopped once I got to high school. Although I may have gone once or twice in high school with some friends just for fun.
ET: I stopped when I was 12 years old. It was my parents’ rule.
AA: I stopped trick-or-treating at 10 or 11 years old.
LM: I stopped trick-or-treating around the age of 13 or 14.
AB: I was still trick-or-treating in college, so I would say at the age of 21.
SB: I stopped trick-or-treating at either 10 or 11 years old.

What was your favorite costume as a kid?

KB: I was a beeper one year. I wore all black and put a red dot on my forehead and wrote “LOW CELL” across it.
CK: When I was younger, I liked dressing up as a clown
ET: A couple of years ago, I was a Power Puff girl.
AA: My favorite costume was Bugs Bunny when I was either 5 or 6.
LM: My favorite costume that I ever wore….to be honest, I can’t even remember.
AB: My favorite costume as a kid was a clown.
SB: I dressed up as Catwoman one year, which was my favorite.

What was the best candy to get when trick-or-treating?

KB: Sweet tarts.
CK: The best candy is anything chocolate, but not with peanut butter.
ET: My dad used to give out giant size candy bars because he worked for Nestle. That was the way to go.
AA: My favorite Halloween candy was Reeses' peanut butter cups.
LM: Anything that was chocolate, because you can’t go wrong with chocolate.
AB: My favorite was popcorn balls.
SB: The best candy to get when trick-or-treating is candy corn.

No matter what you decide to dress up as, or what kind of candy you pass out, enjoy the Halloween festivities.

Happy Halloween from the Liberty!
