New York, NY - September 5, 2006 - We don't know if everyone Got Milk, but apparently everyone Got Jerseys. Liberty jerseys to be more specific. The WNBA has announced that New York topped the list of the league's most popular team merchandise. The Liberty led all teams in sales this season at the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue in NYC and NBAStore.com. All-Star Becky Hammon definitely helped team sales: her jersey was the second-most popular player jersey sold, behind only WNBA MVP Lisa Leslie (Los Angeles Sparks). Not that we're surprised: we've always known that Liberty fans were the best and most supportive in the league!
