- The Lynx and Timberwolves will have a booth in the Grandstand at the Minnesota State Fair. Stop by and play Lynx Plinko to win great prizes! Lynx players and mascot Prowl will make appearances throughout the 12 days to sign autographs and take pictures.

- Seimone Augustus will make an appearance at the FSN North booth to celebrate her gold medal and Olympic experience. She will be signing autographs from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. and appearing on the Twins pregame show.

August 4 - (5 - 6 p.m.) Create a Memory
- Create A Memory is an annual sports related activity day for underprivileged youth in the Twin Cities. Founded by Ron Zamansky, "CAM" is now entering its 22nd summer and will host more than 450 kids. We will have a couple of players out to meet the kids, sign autographs and take pictures.

August 4 - (5:30 p.m.) Ronald McDonald House - Cook For Kids - (Staff)
- Staff will be cooking food, serving and having dinner with the kids and families from the Ronald McDonald House.

August 5 - (6 - 7 p.m.) National Night Out
- National Night Out in Minneapolis is an annual event that involves all segments of the community in building a healthier, safer community; generate support for anti-crime programs and strengthen police/community relations on the first Tuesday of August.

- Players will be making an appearance at the Gospel Hill Camp and helping with a camp basketball tournament. They will also have an opportunity to speak to the kids about education and life choices.

- Players will make an appearance at the Timberwolves Shoot-Out, meeting participants and fans, signing autographs and taking photos.
August 7 - (10 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.) Lynx Be Fit Olympics
- Players will be helping kids participate and compete in a variety of fitness/health related events. It will be an opportunity for Lynx players to stress the importance and fun of leading a healthy, active lifestyle.

- Players will be speaking to the students at Cornerstone on issues such as culture shock and how to adjust to a different culture.
