On the game:
Seattle is a great team with a lot of weapons and a lot of players who are used to stepping up and making plays. They showed how good they are and weʼre not quite there yet. We have a long way to go, thereʼs no question. We have a young team. And even our players who arenʼt as young are in bigger roles. Weʼre on a steep learning curve.
On what the team learned from the game: I think that they learned just how tough you have to be to win games. We showed that we can play with good teams and be successful, which is an encouraging thing for a young team thatʼs not quite sure about all of this yet. We learned how hard it is to win and close it out and just how tough the league is going to be every game.
On their next opponent Chicago:
I havenʼt really watched them a whole lot. Every team is good. They have (Sylvia) Fowles now to add to what they had last year, which was a very good team. They have a lot of athleticism and youth. There are no easy games, especially on the road.

On what mightʼve broken down in the 4th quarter: I think we just didnʼt continue to play defense the way we did in the first half. In the first half, we were really focused on our defense and we did all the little things we needed to do on that end. Coming out in the second half, we didnʼt continue to do that.
On what the team learned in the game: I think a lot of the younger players learned tonight that we canʼt have any let ups. We have to play for 40 minutes and even if we feel like weʼre ahead for a little while, we cannot have any let ups. We have to continue to play harder than the other team if we want to win.
