PRO - WNBA
2006: Acquired from the Phoenix Mercury in exchange for two third-round draft choices, she saw action in 21 of the Shock's 34 games…she averaged 2.0 points and 6.2 minutes per game for Detroit…in her best game of the season, she scored eight points to go along with two rebounds at Connecticut, 5/27…she sank 6-of-8 FT in that game…she scored six points vs. Phoenix, 7/6. 2005: A second-round draft pick by Phoenix (18th overall), she played in 16 games and logged double-digit minutes five times with two games of 21+ minutes…she averaged 2.5 ppg and shot 15-of-50 from the floor (.300)…notching the only double-digit scoring game of her career, she had 11 points vs. San Antonio, 8/19…she averaged 1.4 rebounds a game and had more than one in six games…she collected a career-best four rebounds vs. the Silver Stars, 8/19.

PLAYOFFS
2006: Williams saw action in six playoff games during the Shock’s WNBA title run…she averaged 1.7 points in just over four minutes per appearance…she participated in four out of five games of the WNBA Finals, missing action only in Game 2 against Sacramento.

2007-08: Through 22 of the Greek League's 26-game season, she had made appearances in 18 games for Mask Cosmopel…she led the club with 39 steals and 10 blocked shots, and a 13.0 ppg scoring average…she also averaged 5.1 rpg…she shot a team-best 53.6 percent from two-point range. 2006-07: In eight games for Hapoel Haifa/Motzkin in Israel, she averaged 20.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.5 steals per game…she shot better than 61 percent from two-point range and almost 82 percent (.818) from the foul line. 2005-06: In her first experience playing professionally overseas, she played in 11 games for Elizur Holon in Israel, where she averaged 17.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.1 steals per game.

2004-05: She was named the 2004-05 Illinois Women's Basketball Most Outstanding Player and a first team All-Big Ten pick by the media after averaging 17.8 points per game, third-best in the Big Ten…she finished her career as the Illini's fourth all-time leading scorer with 1,639 points and also ranked in the top 15 in the Big Ten in seven other statistical categories during her senior campaign (FG percentage, steals, blocked shots, assists, FT percentage, 3FG made and 3FG percentage)…noted for not only her offensive prowess, but her defensive skills as well, she led the Illini in both steals (63) and blocked shots (37). 2003-04: A third team All-Big 10 selection, she led the Illini in scoring with 15.7 points per game...she topped the Illini in points (425), steals (53) and blocks (28), and was second on the team in assists (74)...she pulled down a career-best 13 rebounds against Louisiana Tech, 11/24...she tied her career high with six steals at Indiana, 2/8...she started all 27 games she appeared in and led the Illini in scoring 10 times...she had a season-high seven assists vs. Illinois State, 12/6...she scorched Michigan for a career-high 31 points in 34 minutes. 2002-03: She was named Big Ten "Player of the Week" after scoring a season-high 24 points on 6-7 shooting from behind the 3-pt arc vs. Auburn, 12/29...one of the most explosive players in the Big Ten, she scored in double figures in 24 of 29 games. 2001-02: Named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team…she totaled 23 points, seven rebounds, six assists and six steals vs. Ohio State...she grabbed a season-best 10 rebounds against Eastern Illinois.

Full name is Angelina Danielle Williams…she is the daughter of Ricky and Darlene Harvest....she majored in sports management (leisure studies) at Illinois…she enjoys drawing....a three-time all-conference and two-time all-state performer in high school, she led Chicago's George Washington High School to city championships and second place in the state in 2000...that team posted a 31-4 record, and won the Maine West Holiday Tournament...she was named Co-MVP of the Maine West Tourney and all-tournament at the Bloomington Christmas Tournament...she played for Illinois Hustle club team (coached by Jim Russo) for three seasons...that team placed third in the national tournament and won the Boo Williams Tournament....she was a three-time team MVP of the Hustle....she averaged 17.9 ppg and shot 63.1 percent from the field as a sophomore and 15.2 ppg and shot 57.0 percent from the field as a junior at Washington High School....Washington advanced to the city finals in 2000...she placed 10th at the 1997 City of Chicago High School cross country championships, while helping her team to third-place honors.
