One of the Fever’s most charismatic and animated personalities, Hoffman has ranked among WNBA leaders in rebounds per 40 minutes during each of her four pro seasons...a powerful rebounder with improving offensive skills and surprising quickness, she has started 43 games the past two seasons…her 131 career games are third in franchise history behind Tamika Catchings (187) and Kelly Schumacher (159).
PRO - WNBA
2007: Hoffman averaged 4.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game playing in all 34 contests…she started 10 games…in 24 games off the bench, she averaged 4.8 ppg and shot nearly 50 percent (.494) from the floor…she blocked 16 shots, including nine in the last 10 games…a 39 percent shooter in her first three WNBA seasons, she shot 54-117 FG (.462) in 2007…she posted a season-high 10 points at Minnesota, 5/29…a season-high nine rebounds came against Phoenix, 6/15.
2006: In her third pro season, Hoffman started 33 of 34 games while averaging career highs with 6.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest...she recorded the first double-double of her career with a 13-point, 13-rebound effort while coming off the bench in the season opener against Detroit, 5/20...she started every game thereafter, and nearly doubled her point and rebound production from either of her previous seasons...among the league leaders in rebounding for most of the season, she finished second on the team and among the top 25 in the WNBA...her 73 offensive rebounds led the Fever and ranked 13th in the league...including a career-high four straight games from 5/31 to 6/9, she scored 10+ points in a total of eight games...her 13 points against the Shock, 5/20, included 9-9 from the foul line, which were the most free throws made without a miss by any Fever player all season...both her nine free throws made and attempted were the most of her career...tying a career-high, she led the Fever with four assists vs. Connecticut, 8/9...it was the first time in her career that she had led Indiana in assists...she twice had a career-high four steals, leading the Fever in thefts in both games – at L.A., 7/7, and at Connecticut, 8/11.
2005: Hoffman averaged 15.1 mpg, and played in 33 games while averaging 3.6 ppg and 2.9 rpg...she saw her playing time increase as she provided consistent relief of Natalie Williams in the post...she scored a career-high 16 points in the Fever's overtime win vs. Detroit, 6/15...she added a season-high seven rebounds to lead the Indiana bench against the Shock...in her only other game of double-digit scoring, she had a team-high tying 13 points at Charlotte, 7/23…she played in 33 of 34 games, drawing her only DNP-CD of the season at Connecticut, 8/23.
2004: Hoffman played in 30 games as a rookie while averaging 2.0 ppg and 2.9 rpg...she started 13 games...she was fifth in the WNBA with an average of 10.4 rebounds per 40 minutes – second among all rookies...she posted seven rebounds and a season-high nine points at New York, 6/11, on 4-7 FG including the first 3-pt FG of her career...she had a season-high eight rebounds vs. Washington, 9/4...after coming off the bench in the Fever opener, she started 13 straight games before returning to a reserve role the rest of the season...she played 17 minutes in her hometown of Los Angeles, scoring two points with four rebounds, two assists and two steals against the Sparks, before fouling out...she played 20 minutes or more on three occasions, including a season-high 24 minutes vs. Washington, 9/4.
PLAYOFFS
2007: Hoffman saw action in four playoff games, with action limited due to a strained hamstring sustained in the Eastern Conference Semifinals vs. Connecticut…she averaged 2.5 points and 2.3 rebounds, and 10.5 minutes per game…she played 24 minutes in Games 1 and 2 against the Sun, with eight points, but was designated Inactive in Game 3 of the semifinals and was used sparingly in the Eastern Finals against Detroit…she matched a career playoff high with three rebounds against Connecticut, 8/23/07.
2006: In two playoff games against the Shock, Hoffman posted 6.0 ppg and 3.0 rpg...she opened the series with 10 points, three rebounds, a pair of steals and three blocks in Game 1 at Conseco Fieldhouse, 8/17...she posted two points and three boards before fouling out of a Game 2 loss in Detroit, 8/19.
2005: Hoffman was a member of the Fever’s 2006 WNBA Playoffs roster, though did not see action.
PRO - NWBL
2004-05: She was a first-round draft pick of the Chicago Blaze while playing her first season in the National Women’s Basketball League...she was a NWBL All-Star while ranking second in the league with 8.1 rpg...she averaged 13.4 ppg and led the Blaze with 44.8 percent 3-pt FG shooting (13-29)...she shot 46.7 percent from the field overall...she scored a season-high 23 points against the Dallas Fury...she posted 22 points and 14 rebounds against the Lubbock Hawks...she had four double-doubles.
PRO - OVERSEAS
2007-08: Hoffman joined Fever teammate Tammy Sutton-Brown with Fenerbahce in the Turkish League, in January…in limited duty, she averaged 5.8 ppg and 6.6 rpg in Turkish League action.
2006-07: Hoffman averaged 8.7 ppg and 5.9 rpg with TEO Vilnius in the Lithuanian League, where she played beside former Fever star Jurgita Streimikyte and fellow WNBA star Katie Douglas...TEO was dominant and unbeaten during the Lithuanian domestic league (16-0), and advanced to the final eight of EuroLeague competition..in EuroLeague play, Hoffman averaged 7.9 ppg and led TEO Vilnius with 5.9 rpg.
2005-06: Hoffman played with Polisportiva Ares Ribera, in Sicily...in 27 games for Banco di Sicilia Ribera in the Italian League, she averaged 10.8 ppg and a team-high 9.9 rpg...she shot 43.6 percent from the floor and 68.9 percent from the foul line...she had the fifth-best rebounding average in EuroCup play with 10.4 rpg, and she was named the MVP of the Italian League’s postseason tournament.
INTERNATIONAL
2002: Hoffman competed for USA Basketball in the summer, helping the U.S. to a gold medal at the Confederation of Pan American Basketball Associations (COPABA), earning the U.S. a berth in the first World Championship for Young Women.
COLLEGE
2003-04: Played in all 28 games, starting 27, and led USC in scoring (14.7 ppg) and rebounding (8.1 rpg)...she shot 43.4 percent FG, 37.3 percent from 3-point range and 68.8 percent from the foul line...she averaged 1.9 apg, 2.1 spg and 1.0 bpg...she earned her second-straight Kodak/WBCA All-Region honor, as well as her third-straight All-Pac-10 First Team honor...she collected 10 double-doubles to bring her final career total to 38...she finished third in the Pac-10 in rebounding, seventh in scoring and sixth in steals...she had 26 games in double-figure scoring...she was named Pac-10 Player of the Week, 1/26.
2002-03: She earned All-Pac-10 honors for a second season while earning Kodak/WBCA All-Region accolades...she played in all 31 games, with 30 starts...she averaged a team-leading 16.3 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 2.3 spg and 1.1 bpg...she also posted 2.3 apg and shot 76.0 percent from the line...she finished sixth in the Pac-10 in scoring, second in rebounding, third in steals, fourth in blocked shots…she posted a total of 12 double-doubles, finishing second in the Pac-10...she led the team in scoring 17 times and in rebounding 22 times...with 21 points and a career-high 20 rebounds against UCLA, 2/8, she became the first player since Lisa Leslie to post a 20-point, 20-rebound double-double at USC...she matched her personal best by scoring 27 points twice...she posted a career-high seven steals against New Mexico, 11/23...she set a career-best in 3-pt shooting when she hit 3-3 3-pt FG at Washington, 1/30, and again vs. Oregon, 2/27.
2001-02: She made 27 starts and appeared in 28 games...she led the team with 8.9 rpg, 1.3 bpg and 2.4 spg...she finished second on the team averaging 14.9 ppg on 45.2 percent FG shooting...she finished eighth in the Pac-10 in scoring, third in rebounding, offensive rebounds and blocked shots and second in steals and offensive rebounds...she led the team in rebounding 22 times and in scoring nine times...she posted 12 double-doubles (second most in the conference) and had 26 double-digit scoring games...she had one of her best games of the year against Washington, 3/17, in the second round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament hitting 11-18 FG, 3-4 from 3-pt range, while recording 25 points, eight rebounds and a career-high seven assists.
2000-01: In her first season, she made 26 starts, appearing in all 28 games...she led the team in scoring (12.5 ppg) and rebounding (8.0 rpg) - the first USC freshman to do so since Lisa Leslie in 1991...she finished among conference leaders in six categories, including scoring (15th), rebounding (3rd), offensive rebounds (2nd), defensive rebounds (3rd), FT percentage (6th) and blocked shots (8th)...named to Basketball Times’ All-Freshman Team and the Women’s Basketball Journal Freshman All-America Second Team...she also received honorable mention All–Pac-10 and Pac-10 All-Freshman honors...she led the team in scoring 10 times and in rebounding 16 times...she had 20 double-figure scoring games, including 10-straight double-digit outings...she made her first collegiate start against Creighton, 11/17...she earned the first double-double of her career with 19 points and a season-best 17 rebounds against Oregon, 1/25...she recorded her second double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds against Oregon State, 1/27, and was named the Pac-10 Player of the Week.
