Reserve point guard K.B. Sharp enters her third season with the Indiana Fever, and her fifth in the WNBA.
PRO - WNBA
2007: Sharp appeared in all 34 games to average 3.2 points and 1.4 assists per game…she finished 12th in the WNBA in assists-to-turnover ratio (1.77:1)…the only Indiana player to score in double figures at Connecticut, 8/4, she tied her career-high with 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting, plus a pair of free throws…she also had one assist in nearly 23 minutes without a turnover against the Sun…in the last 21 games she scored nearly four times as many points (78) as she did in 23 appearances (22 points) in all of her 2006 campaign…for the season, she totaled a career-high 105 points.
2006: Sharp appeared in 23 games for the Fever, averaging 1.0 points and 1.0 assists per game...she capped the season with her best overall effort of the summer, scoring four points with a game-high and career-best seven assists, plus four rebounds, in 16 minutes vs. Chicago, 8/13...those seven assists tied the most by any Fever player all season, and she had no turnovers in that game...her four rebounds against the Sky were one short of her career high...overall, she handed out 23 assists, grabbed seven steals and collected nine rebounds, while averaging 6.8 mpg...she had her best offensive game of the season vs. her former team, the New York Liberty, 5/30, scoring five points.
2005: Sharp was waived during New York’s training camp.
2004: Sharp appeared in 30 games, averaging 1.0 ppg and 1.1 apg...she began the season by logging double-digit minutes in each of her first four appearances, but she saw double-digit minutes only five times the rest of the season...she scored a season-high six points against the Detroit Shock, 7/30.
2003: In her rookie season, she averaged 3.1 ppg, 1.2 apg and 1.1 rpg in 13.2 mpg...she played at least 10 minutes in 24 of her 30 games played, and scored in double figures twice...including 4-7 FG and a career-best 6-6 from the foul line, she scored a career-high 14 points vs. Indiana, 6/7, in just her fourth career appearance...she scored 10 points in 21 minutes at Washington, 8/21...those are the only double-figure games of her career...she had a season-best three assists five times and had three rebounds twice (vs. Cleveland, 6/10, vs. Connecticut, 7/1).
PLAYOFFS
2007: Sharp appeared in all six playoff games…she saw 14 minutes of action against Connecticut, 8/25, and at Detroit, 9/2…she matched a career playoff high with five points in the Eastern Finals at Detroit, 9/2…all five points came on 5-of-6 free throw shooting. 2006: Sharp was a part of the Fever roster, but did not log any minutes during the two-game series against Detroit.
2004: She made appearances in all five of the Liberty's playoff games, scoring five points in her postseason debut at Detroit, 9/24...those five points were her only points scored in the playoffs...she added two assists and a rebound in seven minutes...in the five games, she totaled five assists and one rebound in 21 minutes.
PRO - OVERSEAS
2007-08: In France's LFB, she played a second straight year for Aix-en-Provence, where she was one of four players on the team that averaged in double-figures (11.5 ppg)…her 11.5 ppg led all players that saw action in at least half the team's games…she led the team with 4.1 assists per game and was fourth with 3.7 rebounds a game in 25 games.
2006-07: Sharp had an outstanding winter season and earned all-league honors in the French League...her 5.5 apg led all EuroCup competitors and she was named the French League's top point guard...in EuroCup games, she also averaged 15.8 ppg and 4.1 rpg...in the LFB, where her team finished seventh out of 14 teams, she finished with averages of 14.2 ppg and 6.0 apg.
2005-06: She played for Raanana Herzeliya in the Israel's First Division...she was the third-leading scorer on the team with an average of 11.7 ppg and she topped her team in assists with an average of 5.3 apg...she ranked second in the league in assists per game and led the league in assists-to-turnover ratio...with Raanana Herzeliya she teamed with the Liberty's Shameka Christon and Chelsea Newton of the Chicago Sky.
2004-05: She played 10 games for Hapoel Tel-Aviv, where she averaged 14.9 ppg and shot better than 60 percent (.603) from the floor...she also averaged 3.8 rpg and 3.5 apg for Hapoel.
2003-04: She spent the 2003-04 season playing in St. Petersburg, Russia, where she helped lead the team to the EuroCup Championship.
INTERNATIONAL
2003: She was a member of the WNBA Select team that won a silver medal in the 2003 FIBA Women’s World Cup in Samara, Russia.
COLLEGE
2002-03: Sharp earned Cincinnati’s Most Outstanding Player award for the third-straight year after leading the team in assists and ranking third in scoring and rebounding...she became Cincinnati’s all-time leader in assists (623), games played (126) and minutes played (4,339), while earning First Team All-Conference USA honors...she finished her collegiate career as one of fewer than 15 women in Division I history to tally over 1,000 career points, 600 assists and 450 rebounds...she averaged double-figure points for the first time in her career with 13.6 ppg as a senior...her 184 assists represented the second highest total in Bearcats history and gave her the top three single-season assists totals in the school's history.
2001-02: A Third Team All-Conference USA pick as a junior, she was the first player in Bearcats history to hand out more than 200 assists (205) in a single season, besting her own school record as a sophomore...she also set the Bearcats' single season record for minutes with 1,214.
2000-01: In addition to a school single-season record for assists (170), she 8.3 ppg and 3.6 rpg in 32 games.
1999-00: As a freshman, she shot a career-best 43.4 percent from the field, and averaged 5.6 ppg to go with 2.1 apg and 1.9 rpg.
