- Teamed with Washington’s Nikki McCray to perform the national anthem prior to the 2000 NBA All-Star Saturday Night festivities
- Served as a First Lieutenant in the Army Reserves as a transportation specialist
- Is actively involved in Community initiatives throughout the Sacramento area.
