Indianapolis– Coming out of the All-Star break, the Shock stole a victory at the buzzer against the Indiana Fever, 70-68, at Conseco Fieldhouse. Deanna Nolan hit a 16-foot jump shot with one second remaining to lift Detroit back into first place in the Eastern Conference. There were 14 different lead changes and 15 times that the two teams were tied. The Shock outscored the Fever 18-4 in fast break points. Deanna Nolan led the way for the Shock scoring 27 points while adding two assists, three steals and three blocks. Elaine Powell added eight helpers while Swin Cash contributed another solid night with 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Indiana’s production was squarely on the shoulders of Tamika Catchings and Natalie Williams, as they scored 22 and 17 respectively. Catchings added 13 rebounds and five assists.
