Cash hit 10-of-15 field goals and 8-of-11 free throws. Deanna Nolan added 16 points as the Shock snapped a four-game road losing streak against Sacramento.

Sacramento pulled to 45-40 with 14:48 remaining in the game but Detroit went on a 9-2 run to build a 54-42 cushion. Cash scored five points during the spurt.

Tangela Smith led Sacramento with 21 points and Lady Grooms added 10 off the bench. Yolanda Griffith had 10 points and nine rebounds before fouling out as Sacramento dropped to 1-4 at home.

Detroit has won four in a row on the road.
