Seattle– The Shock pushed its record back over the .500 mark for the first time since the first game of the season behind Wendy Palmer’s career-high 32 points. The first half saw 12 lead changes and six ties as the Storm took a three-point lead into the locker room. Detroit regained the lead early in the second with a 15-4 run and never trailed again.
Both teams knocked down 50 percent of their field goal attempts, but Detroit held a 28-7 advantage in points scored at the free throw line. Kamila Vodichkova scored a team-high 22 points and tying a league-record by connecting on 10-of-11 shots from the field.
