Washington D.C. – Astou Ndiaye-Diatta’s 20 points and 10 rebounds helped the Shock end its three-game skid with a 12 point win over the Mystics. Detroit led 23-10 with 7:37 remaining in the first half, but Washington scored 12 of the last 14 points before the half to cut the lead to three at the break.
The Shock used an 8-0 run midway through the second to open up another double-digit lead, and the Mystics never got closer than eight points the rest of the way. Nikki McCray was the lone Washington player to reach double figures in scoring with 12 points.
