Ashley Robinson endeared herself to Storm fans prior to the 2007 season, serving as the Storm's representative in the community. Acquired by the Storm in late June 2006 in a trade with the Chicago Sky, Robinson has contributed athleticism off the bench to the Storm. Robinson was a highly-touted prep player entering Tennessee, starting her first game with the Lady Vols. Robinson overcame a torn ACL suffered following her freshman season to return to the starting lineup her final two seasons, both of which ended in the NCAA Championship Game. A second-round pick by Phoenix in 2004, Robinson played her first two seasons for the Mercury.
