Andrea Ricci, Solar Power Choreographer/Coordinator

Andrea Ricci is the new Director/Choreographer for the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun Solar Power Dance Team. With extensive experience in the entertainment industry, Andrea is ready to take this team to the next level. Based in Rhode Island, she began her dance training in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, and hip hop at Cheryl’s School of Dance. She is a graduate of the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston Dance Teacher’s Training Program and has taught extensively throughout the country. Andrea was the former captain and choreographer of the Providence College Dance Team in Rhode Island and received many accolades from the fans, coaches, and administration.

In 2001, she began working as a staff member for Universal Dance Association (UDA), the leading Dance Team Company in the world. Currently she is a Head Instructor, Choreographer, and New England Territory Manager for UDA. Through her work in New England, the Dance Team market continues to grow and teams attend many of her events. With UDA, Andrea has traveled the country and worked with numerous high school and college dance teams. Andrea is a veteran judge for the National Dance Team Championships in Walt Disney World, Florida, as seen on ESPN. In addition, she is also the New England Company Dance Service Representative. Andrea is listed in “Who’s Who” for Rhode Island Dancers and the Global Dance Directory for the International Dance Council under UNESCO. She is thrilled to take on this new adventure with the Solar Power Dance Team!
